The Reddit link under ACTING has a link to a YouTube video by Amy Walker, who is apparently quite an expert in accents - definitely worth a few minutes look to see her change accents in the middle of a sentence!

Love that neither Sarah Snook nor Matthew MacFadyen are from the US and hide their accents so flawlessly well. MacFadyen, when interviewed, is so unlike Tom - very sweet and gentle. Thanks for this roundup!

So convincing! There was one moment in the eulogy--when Snook pronounced "shone" like "shuhn"--but that was a borderline slip. I've pronounced it that way, too!

I've been reading "The Year of The French" by Thomas Flanagan (Caitlin's father). It is about the year 1798 in Ireland when the French landed troops to support an Irish rebellion. It was published in 1979. I remember when it was published as it garnered a lot of praise and some awards. It is beautifully written, and I can see where Caitlin gets hew own talent from.
